I had to post today about my friends graphic design company Leila H. This talented girl does every kind of graphic design and web design. If you need a new logo, stationary, branding, corporate or personal, you need some hot new flash or redesign for your website - this is the girl for you!

E-Decorating - Kitchen/Evanston

Above our images of from my latest E-Decorating client in Evanston Illinois. My client needed help accenting her new custom kitchen - which is very similar to the kitchen image above. By using wallpaper to accent a built in shelf it brings more color into the space. Accessorizing with vintage blue/green canisters and glass jars for the counter tops give the new kitchen an old world style. And by using an outdoor rug inside helps the floor be clear of dirt and stains.

Small Space Big Style

So the Small Space Big Style episode I was featured in (like a million years ago) aired again this morning. E-Decorating - Sitting Room/Evanston

Above are images from my E-Decorating client in Evanston Illinois. I call this traditional meets out-of-the-box. I carefully chose fabrics and materials that would suit an area just off the kitchen and kept the space modern but with a classic feel. My client actually received more links, in case she wanted a lighter/brighter look. Everything is available online and the items I researched were in her price rang trying not to go over budget. Ciudad Magazine

Last week I found out Ciudad Magazine has closed its doors and has shut down. This was an amazing local Latin magazine that supported the up and coming and talented people it featured. For those of you who have read the magazine, you will know what I'm talking about. I will definitely miss everyone who I worked with at the magazine and thank you for YOUR support over these last few years.

Sorry... No DNG this month...

Sorry members I was not able to secure a location for this months DNG meeting. I went through 5 different locations!!! I do have confirmation on our next event in July and for August as well. Check your email this week for updates. See you all next month!
