LXTV - Open House

A week ago my home was featured on an episode of LXTV Open House. French American Wallpaper had the show come by and shoot at my very stylized house in Venice Beach (thank you Patrick!). The wallpaper that we chose was customized to match the color of my green vintage cabinet.

So if you are interested in finding out more about French American click the video link above or check out their website. They really do have the most beautiful papers around!

(Sub)Urban

If you're looking for a new store to hit...then drive downtown to find (Sub)Urban a new home decor and accessories store. I haven't been there as of yet, but wanted to let all you design minded folks about it! It seems as though they don't much on their website, but you can find them on facebook. Above are some shots of new store.

Next DNG Event

Will be held Dec 3rd at Atmosphere Gallery on Melrose. Invites will be sent out later this week that will include all the details. If you would like to become a member of our DNG group, email me at turquosie.la@gmail.com.

Hotel Maya

A new full service hotel just opened called Hotel Maya as part of the Joie De Vivre chain. This new hotel/resort with its Latin influence can be found on the waterfront in Long beach. Sangria tastings, outdoor movie theater - wow! I can literally see myself sipping Champagne here. A must to visit!

Lost City

I receive a lot of emails from companies trying to get me to post their work on my blog, exchange links and try to bribe me with posting their information for a free piece of art. Not my style.

So this morning I received an email from this amazing showroom in NY Lost City - that certainly caught my eye! While I am probably not the first person to blog about them and I am sure you have seen the site before. I must say this website is a gallery or a museum of its own. Lost City is an amazing site that explores wares from all of the world. I simply cant find the words to describe all that can be found on this website, so you must view it for yourself! Let the journey begin here!
