E-Decorating - Harrisburg Pennsylvania/Bedroom

Above is an inspiration board for my new E-Decorating client in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. For her bedroom she has asked for a mix of modern furnishings along with antique and vintage furniture. She loves faux bamboo tied with splashes of yellow and rustic pieces mixed together. I will have the finished boards done in a couple weeks so please check back. If you are interested in E-Decorating you can view the information here on my website.

Hollywood Life Magazine Home and Awards Show

Here is some new press from the January issue of Hollywood Life Magazine. Ludacris is photographed in a room that Cory Pernicano and I decorated at the PDC for the after party. Hope to see the full room in an upcoming issue of HL.

And here is one of my favorite video from Ludacris...shot by one of my clients back in the day...

Sherman Oaks Project - Custom Chairs

I am very happy that after selecting our fabric with my clients in Sherman Oaks our custom dining room chairs are completed!

We had their existing dining table refinished and matched the table to the wood finish of the custom chairs. The mid-century table looks brand new!

Sneak Peek - Encino House

I still have a little more to do...but here is a little sneak peak of the living room and office I have almost completed for my clients in Encino. For the living room we chose blues/browns/beiges and blacks with a mix of different patterns. Not one pattern is used again within the space...and needless to say my clients are over the moon!

The office image is the one with the silver wallpaper and pink chair. Our custom cabinet arrived yesterday and looks amazing! I hope to have images on my website by late February, so enjoy!
You can view my original inspirational boards here and here.

So this is my plan for the foyer...I still have to pick the wall colors. I might leave it white, or paint it canary yellow or kelly green.

Foyer Inspiration

The Foyer

Ever since I've seen apartments in Flatbush I've noticed that alot of them have had beautiful foyers. I myself have never thought I would have a foyer let alone a one bedroom. I made it my goal that when I moved from the last hell hole that I would try and find an apartment that it has a foyer. As you can see I found an apartment that has not just a foyer but one with beautiful arched doorways and a built-in shelf! I immediately knew that I wanted the foyer to be inspired by a painting either by the beautiful primary colors of Fernand Léger or Piet Mondrian. I have two inspirational paintings that inspire me for my foyer.

Composition No. 10. 1939-42. by Piet Mondrian
and...
Les Belles Cyclistes, c.1944 by Fernand Leger

Apt. 5G

I have finally made my 30th birthday goal come true! I have found my dream apartment in New York City! I have bided my time in my shitty studio and low and behold I found a beautiful one-bedroom two blocks from where I used to live in Flatbush. I am starting this blog to chronicle my journey in decorating and making the perfect home for myself. I may not update daily, weekly, or even monthly. This is purely a personal home diary. By no means do I expect anyone to read it but if you somehow find yourself on my blog and if you choose to read it, follow it, or come across it by chance I hope you enjoy it. This blog is for me to collect and keep track of all the ideas I have in my head. I may from time to time borrow the format of other blogs that I truly admire such as Apartment Therapy, DesignSponge, Making It Lovely, Design to Inspire, and of course my favorite Domino. Feel free to share your comments and ideas with me. I am open to everything. Now, for the tour...
